Custom Keyboards

Custom Mechanical Keyboards.

In my spare time, I like to build Custom Mechanical Keyboards. It is a fun and relaxing hobby. Because I work a desk job, I use my keyboard a lot. It is the main bridge between me and my computer. In my opinion, if I’m going to be spending hours a day using a device, I want it to be the most enjoyable experience possible.

Build yourself a keyboard. You worked hard. You deserve it.

My Red NK65

The first board I built was the Novel Keys NK65.

It is a small compact 65% keyboard. It has nice tactile switches and pretty good sound.

Keyboard Specs:

  • Durock T1 67g Switches filmed and lubed with Tribosys..
  • Polycarbonate case.
  • Red Samurai knockoff PBT Keycaps.
  • aluminum plate.
  • Stabs are clip in and lubed with 205g0

My KBD75v3.1

The second board I built was a KBDFans 75% V3.1. For this build I went all out. I got the smoothest switches on the market, a really nice keycap set, and a solid aluminum case with a brass plate. The money was well spent. This board is really fun to use and sounds amazing.

Keyboard Specs:

  • TealiosV2 switches, lubed (205g0) and filmed.
  • KBD75v3.1 Case
  • ebpt 9009 keycap with VIM set
  • Brass plate with
  • hot-swap PCB.
  • clipped, lubed, and taped cherry screw-in stabilizers
